How to View "PET PLAY GAMES" experience

  1. You will need a Webcam and a computer with the Adobe Flash player installed to run the Pet Play Games experience.
  2. On the selection screen, show your tracker card in front of your webcam. Once the tracker card is recognized by the program, the corresponding game will start automatically. You can play 6 different games:
    1. Black Lab: One Player: Discs will launch randomly. Move the tracker card left or right to move the dog to catch the discs. Dog will jump automatically when in the correct position. Two Player: Player Two uses the numbers 1-5 to launch the discs.
    2. Yellow Lab: One Player: Balls will launch randomly. Move the tracker card left or right to move the dog to catch the balls. Dog will jump automatically when in the correct position. Two Player: Player Two uses the numbers 1-5 to launch the balls.
    3. Chameleon: One Player: Use the tracker card to move and hold the target over the crickets as they jump around. Tongue will fire automatically. Two Player: Player Two uses the numbers 0-9 to launch the crickets.
    4. Fish: One Player: Use the tracker card to move the fish to eat the falling food before it reaches the bottom of the tank. Two Player: Player Two uses the numbers 0-9 to drop the food. Press and hold to drop bigger, faster falling food.
    5. Bird: One Player: Watch different positions light up in red and remember the order. Use the tracker to move the bird to each position in the correct order. Two Player: Player Two uses the number keys from 1-5 to add another position to the queue.
    6. Cat: One Player: The kitty will automatically aim toward the toys. Push the tracker toward the webcam to make the kitty pounce. Timing is everything! Two Player: Player Two uses the keys 0-9 to launch the toys from different places around the room.

Frequently Asked Questions to Help Guide You:

  1. Troubleshooting your Web Camera
  2. Tracker Recognition
  3. System Requirements
  1. Troubleshooting your Web Camera

Question: I can't see any video or I get an error message when starting the application.

Answer: Make sure your web camera is plugged in and installed correctly. Make sure that your web camera software is turned off before starting to play the Pet Play Games.

If you are still having connection issues, please email us at digital@wendys.com

Question: My video is blurry or goes in and out of focus.

Answer: If your web camera has auto focus, turn it off. Sometimes there is a thin film placed over new webcams to protect the lenses during shipping. Make sure this film has been removed from the webcam.

Question: The lighting in my web camera seems too bright/dark.

Answer: Many cameras use auto light sensors that adjust the light based on the background. You may need to turn off the automatic setting control in your software and adjust the room lighting.

  2. 3D Tracker Recognition

Question: How close should the tracker card be to the camera?

Answer: The Pet Play Games tracker card should be held about 8 inches away from the web cam or until the entire page is in full view.

Question: I’m holding up the tracker card to my Webcam and can see myself, but nothing is happening?

Answer: The tracker card should be held flat and in full view of the Webcam (about 8 inches away). Make sure that the room you are in is well lit and there are no glares on the page. If still not working, pull the tracker card away and try again.

Question: I’m having a hard time getting the Pet Play Games tracker card to be recognized.

Answer: Often, the problem may be lighting. (See the lighting section above.) If you printed your tracker card, it may be your print out. Try formatting your printer to a higher print quality.
